When installing FlexPhase batteries on three-phase systems, a right rotating field (clockwise) on the battery terminals is required for proper operation.

You’ll need to bring a phase rotation measurement device (e.g., Duspol or Fluke T150) to check the phase rotation on site. In case the phase rotation is left (counterclockwise), the batteries won’t work.

Use a phase rotation measurement device to confirm that L1-L2, L2-L3, and L3-L1 each show a right (R) rotation at the battery terminals.

By installing new, higher-wattage panels with IQ8 Microinverters, installers can unlock the full potential of sites where IQ7 Microinverters have already been installed.

Supported system configurations include Solar Only and Solar Plus Batteries without backup; supported batteries include the IQ Battery 3T/10T and IQ Battery 5P.
