Use the latest software
Commissioning IQ8 Microinverters requires the Enphase Installer App version 4.5 or higher and IQ Gateway software version 8.03.5052 or higher.
System compatibility
Please note that we cannot add IQ8 Microinverters to existing IQ7 systems if an IQ System Controller is present on the same gateway.
Mandatory gateway update
An IQ Gateway software update must be performed using Enphase Installer App version 4.5 or higher. Watch the training video for more details.
