When Mike Tabb founded The Integrity Energy Group in 2020, he approached it as his “next greatest mission” after military service: helping families and communities across the Deep South gain energy independence. Drawing on his background in utility-scale projects and Solar Energy International training, Mike brings both technical depth and a consultative mindset to every installation. “I'm not going to install eight batteries on someone's home just for the sake of it,” Mike said in a recent conversation with Enphase. “I'll install what's needed and nothing more.” This straightforward, customer-first approach has made him a trusted voice in local communities.

Mike's commitment to the industry extends beyond his own installations. Every week, he takes on projects other installers have abandoned, repairing orphaned systems and restoring customer faith in solar.
“Every week I'm fixing someone's orphaned system,” Mike explained. “That tells you all you need to know about integrity – if we mess up, people lose faith in the whole industry.”
This work rarely generates headlines, but it reinforces The Integrity Energy Group's reputation as a company that shows up when others don't. “This is not like other types of construction – it's niche and it requires attention to detail,” Mike emphasized. “You can't have a margin of error.”
To ensure accuracy and quality, Mike reviews each design personally and stands behind every installation long after commissioning is complete. For him, doing right by people matters most when no one's watching.

Last summer, Mike and his team completed the installation of Alabama's first 4th-generation Enphase Energy System for a homeowner with a deep IT background. It proved the perfect match: a tech-savvy customer and cutting-edge technology.
The integrated design required 62% less wall space than earlier models, making for a faster, more streamlined install. Mike was especially impressed with the IQ Combiner 6 and the IQ Battery 10C.
“The load control and consumption monitoring enabled by the IQ Combiner 6 is exceptional - it's a perfect example of why I'm doubled down on Enphase,” he explained.
