Why solar?
The Mahajan Medical Center houses five individual medical units under one roof. These businesses include a general medical practice, a Golden Glow Med Spa, a plastic surgery unit, and an aesthetics center. With high-energy-use devices like X-ray machines and essential medical equipment—plus multiple EVs on-site—this property experiences significant energy demand.
The owner’s main objective was to offset as much of the medical center’s electricity usage as possible. As part of this strategy, he wanted to take full advantage of available tax incentives, particularly maximizing the domestic content percentage for bonus credits. Given the substantial taxable income, this made financial sense.
Why Enphase?
Enphase offers a domestic content commercial solution to help obtain the 10% bonus tax credit. To avoid any inverter clipping and accommodate the site’s three-phase service, the IQ8P-3P Commercial Microinverter was the clear choice for this project.
Origin Solar has built a reputation for delivering high-quality solar installations. For this project, they had to create a precision-based design to accommodate the unique parameters of the location, which included five different meters. Designing with Enphase proved to be highly effective. Additionally, the building owner was committed to selecting Enphase microinverters from the start. He recognized Enphase as the most reliable manufacturer to support his company’s long-term investment, offering panel-level monitoring and seamless integration for future energy goals or storage additions.
