- 1. Launching in the United States in Q2 2025. The IQ Battery 10C is not compatible with the IQ Battery 5P at launch. The IQ Battery 10CS is launching in Q3 2025.
- 2. To function with IQ Batteries, the M Series Microinverters need an Envoy S Metered gateway. However, Envoy S Metered gateways cannot maintain the IEEE 2030.5 connection through the ride-through times required for IEEE 1547:2018 compliance. If the utility mandates IEEE 1547:2018 compliance, replacement with IQ7 or IQ8 or IQ9 Series Microinverters will be required.
- 3. At launch, the IQ Battery 10C/10CS-based system is NOT compatible with third-party inverters and legacy Enphase microinverters through the load/PV control accessory. Compatibility will be available by the end of 2025. The IQ Combiner 6C does not communicate with third-party inverters or legacy Enphase microinverters; these should retain their existing gateway. When the system transitions to off-grid mode, it will disconnect third-party PV inverters or legacy Enphase microinverters connected to the integrated load controller.
- 4. To ensure compatibility of the IQ Combiner 5/5C or IQ Combiner 5/5C HDK with 2nd generation batteries, disconnect the COMMS-KIT-02 and install the COMMS-KIT-01. Refer to the installation guide for more information.
- 5. Sunlight Backup is supported with IQ System Controller 2/3/3G, IQ8 or IQ9 Microinverters and IQ Gateway or IQ Combiner. To commission a Sunlight Backup site, at least one IQ Load Controller is required. For more details, please refer to the documentation center.
- 6. The IQ Battery 3T/10T is not compatible with the IQ Battery 5P.
- 7. The IQ System Controller 3M should always be installed with the IQ Meter Collar.
- 8. Replace the integrated load/PV control accessory with the ride-through power supply accessory if the utility requires IEEE 2030.5 connection through the low-voltage ride-through times stated in IEEE 1547:2018.
- 9. M Series Microinverters are compatible with the IQ Battery 5P when installed with the IQ System Controller 3/3G, along with the Envoy S Metered and COMMS-KIT-02. M Series Microinverters are incompatible with the IQ Battery 5P when installed with the IQ System Controller 3M and the IQ Meter Collar.
