IQ Combiner 6C includes a factory-shipped PV aggregate breaker that functions as the rapid shutdown initiator for IQ Series PV connected to the combiner. If the combiner is not easily accessible, wire to an external disconnect that is connected to the AC sense header, which also functions as a rapid shutdown initiator.

Does the IQ Battery 10C support generator integration?

No. However, Enphase is introducing the IQ Smart Switch in 2026—a standalone, service-entrance-rated enclosure designed specifically to enable generator connectivity with the IQ Combiner 6C and IQ Battery 10C. The IQ Smart Switch is expected to allow higher continuous generator current than the IQ System Controller 3G. Once available, this add-on will provide a streamlined path to incorporating a generator into 4th-gen Enphase Energy System.
